Referee Information
WMYSA Select matches are officiated by one of two Referee Associations. The Southwest Michigan Soccer Referee Association (SWMSRA) officiates matches in Van Buren, Berrien and Cass County, The West Michigan Soccer Referee Association (WMSRA) officiates matches in St. Joseph, Kalamazoo, Allegan, Calhoun & Branch County,
Elite matches will be officiated by one of three Referee Associations. SWMSRA, WMSRA and Grand Valley Soccer Officials Association (GVSOA).
Unlike some other leagues, WMYSA pays the referee assignor fees for all home games directly to the appropriate referee associations. Those fees are already built into the team fees charged by WMYSA.
WMYSA encourages its clubs to try and help recruit officials for your area. This will ensure greater flexibility in scheduling of games
Game reports should be sent to the WMYSA Administrator responsible for scheduling within 72 hours of the match. The home team should provide the official with the addressed, stamped envelope to be used for this mailing. In the event the envelope is not available, the game sheet should be sent to: Dana Pope ~ 10346 Lloy Street ~ Portage, MI 49024.
