Player registration fee is maintained at $25 per player.  Fee increases are intended to provide the increased fee to club/team requesting extra services.

The WMYSA Board has recently explored options to best serve a growing interest in select level soccer opportunities below the U9 level currently offered by the league. Studying the trends in other states and the using the best practice approach of soccer experts at the state and national level, a series of phased improvements have been reviewed and approved for implementation in WMYSA starting with the tryouts for the Fall 2008 season.   Click here for the exciting details.

Player Training Opportunities

WMSYA Provided Summer Camps: 

• 7th annual Kalamazoo WMSYA player camp: Kalamazoo Soccer Complex Drake Rd.  Monday thru Friday, August 4-8 from 9am to 12 noon; Camp will be facilitated by Soccerzone staff led by Neil Ridgway;  Send registration to Ron Warners 7136 Glade Trail Kalamazoo, MI 49009 or better yet to his email which is RAWarners@aol.com; Cost is only $35 and can be paid with registration or at first day of camp. • 3rd annual SW Michigan WMYSA player camp: Rocky Weed Soccer Complex; Monday thru Friday, August 11-15 from 9am to 12 noon; Camp will be facilitated by Soccerzone staff led by Neil Ridgway.  Cost is only $30 this year. Send registration to Karen Rinehardt 1401 Deerfield Street, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Please register and pay in advance so proper number of coaches can be arranged. • Battle Creek WMSYA Player Camp: NEW THIS YEAR at  BC Lakeview HS;  Monday thru Thursday August 4-7 from 9am to noon. Camp will be facilitated by WMU Men's soccer team led by Chris Karwoski and Chad Wiseman  Send registration to Ron Warners at RAWarners@aol.com or 7136 Glade Trail Kalamazoo MI. 49009;  Cost is only $30 for the four day camp and can be paid with registration or at first day of camp. • Kalamazoo Soccer Academy Camp: Week of June 23rd at Kalamazoo College. The camp specializes in elite team training for boys and girls ages 10-18.  The Camp runs in conjunction with Nick Carlin-Voigt's fourth annual goalkeeper Camp which only accepts 45 goalkeepers.
