Community Involvement

Force Soccer Club teamed up with Haiti Missionaries to bring soccer to Haiti. Force held a fundraiser at a local Pizza Hut. All proceeds were donated to Haiti Missionaries for their trip March 2015. Also Force received donated shoes, soccer balls, old soccer uniforms, shin guards, soccer cleats and indoor shoes.

Brief overview about the Haiti trip and why:

oSoccer is a major sport in Haiti

oChildren usually play bare foot, and on dirt

oWith Force Soccer Club support they were able to provide St. Francis De Sales School with complete uniforms, shoes and shin guards to create 2 teams to compete

oThis gives the children of Haitia recreation, sportsmanship, and opportunity to excel

oSoccer equipment is extremely hard to get in Haiti, and is guarded like gold.

oMarch 2015; we had 3 former Force alumni travel with the missionaries and held a soccer training camp.( Sierra Livingston, Josie Sturman and Grant Pettit).
