WMYSA Registration Calendar and Procedures for Spring 2013

Please review the following pdf for a list of updated dates regarding team/player registrations. There have been a few date changes as well as procedural changes that you should be aware of in order to process your registrations accurately, and on time.
 
   

NSCAA National Diploma Course (Non-Residential)

Dates: Aug. 9,10,11 & 16,17,18 (Fridays partial day)
Kingdom Indoor Center: Portage, MI

The National Diploma is a 45-hour course designed to meet the needs of the more experienced coach, particularly those coaching at the high school level and above, or youth coaches with previous certification and a number of years working with the developing player.  It is strongly recommended that candidates complete the NSCAA Level 6 Diploma or USSF "D" license prior to the course (however not required). The overall objective of the National Diploma is to acquaint the coach with the needs of the soccer player and provide an organized and progressive methodology of coaching those needs. Basic technical and tactical knowledge is the central theme of the course in a 6 vs. 6 model. The course includes sessions on the teaching process, psychological skills training and Laws of the Game. Participants receive a curriculum that outlines the course content and includes valuable resource material. Testing includes oral, written and practical (coaching) evaluations. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. (This course meets the MSPSP & MRL coaching license requirements)

 

 

 Player Pass Card Rules Recommendations and FAQ's

WMYSA has implemented a new player pass card system starting in the 2012-2013 seasons. Coaches and Club representatives , please take a few moments to familiarized yourself with the Pass Card System. If you have any questions please feel to ask them at the AGM on July 10th.
 
 NEW 2013 - WMYSA Team Commitment and Request Form
WMYSA has implemented a new form for clubs to indicate their club and team commitments starting for Spring 2013. Instead of a single form per club, WMYSA now requires a club form and a form per team. The forms are a PDF that can be filled out quickly.
 
These forms are required to be sent Dana Pope (Asst Adminsistrator/Scheduluer at danawmysa@att.net  by Jan 15,2013.
