Winter WMYSA Presidents Meeting

 

WMYSA Presidents,

 

This is a reminder to that WMYSA will be having the Winter President’s meeting on Tuesday, January 24th from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The meeting will be held on the lower level at the office of Edward Rose, 6101 Newport Road, Portage, MI 49002. The WMYSA board is requesting someone from each member club attend the meeting. We hope to see all the club presidents and community reps there.

WMYSA Registration Calendar for Spring 2012- Important Dates 

1.      Transfer registrations deadline is Jan. 30th, 2012.  There are no late Transfer Registrations allowed.  Transfer applications are done directly to WMYSA. 

2.     Dual registrations deadline is April 21st, 2012.  There are no late Dual Registrations allowed.  Dual applications are done directly to WMYSA.

WMYSA Policy Documents now loaded on "FORMS" page

The following WMYSA Policy Documents have now been loaded onto the WMYSA website.  Previously, these documents were only availale upon request.  These policy documents address either (1) guiding principles for matters not normally part of the leagues by-laws, rules/regulations, or day-to-day operation (2) provide additional clarification or explanation about WMYSA rules and regulations.

 MSYSA Updated Regulations on Player Transfer and Poaching

Effective November 1, 2011

Player Transfers are only allowed in the month of January.  Under extraordinary circumstances, such as dissolution of a team or player's family moves a significant distance away a transfer exception may be granted.
